Breaking News PhotoMYSTERY IN TRANSRATANIA

Do Vampires Live on New Mouse Island?
By Sweetie Cheesetriangle

NEW MOUSE CITY—Everyone knows that Transratania is the coldest, foggiest, SCARIEST part of New Mouse Island. But how many mice do you know who have actually been to Transratania and lived to tell about it?

Geronimo Stilton, esteemed editor of The Rodent's Gazette, is there on a rescue mission right now.

It all started with a mysterious phone call late last night. A call for HELP from Geronimo's cousin, Trap Stilton. It seems that Trap is trapped at Count Vlad von Ratoff's castle in the hills of Transratania. But why? The line went dead before Geronimo could find out.

Ever the courageous and loyal rodent, Geronimo set off for Transratania immediately, along with Gazette special correspondent Thea Stilton and his favorite nephew, nine-year-old Benjamin.

The Gazette got a crackly phone call from Geronimo earlier today. He said, "Transratania is even gloomier and weirder than we expected. The local rodents are very nervous, and are obsessed with GARLIC. They eat it with every meal, wear garlic necklaces, and use garlic keychains. It seems they are trying to protect themselves from SOMETHING…"

Also, according to Geronimo, the von Ratoffs have VERY STRANGE eating habits.
Who would eat BLOODsucker's pie, BLOOD sausages, and drink BLOOD instead of cherry berry punch? What can explain the STRANGE NOISES Geronimo heard coming from the highest tower of the castle?

The facts aren't all in yet, but it seems highly likely that VAMPIRES EXIST on NEW MOUSE ISLAND!!!

We can only hope that our beloved editor and his companions make it back to New Mouse City with the story of a lifetime—and without losing any BLOOD!
