INTRODUCING SMELLOVISION!
New Spymouse 008 Film Has the Sweet Smell of Success

By Teddy von Muffler

NEW MOUSE CITYSecret agent Spymouse 008 is back in Cheesewhisker, his most exciting adventure yet. And the excitement isn’t just on the screen. With this film, Metro-Goldwyn-Mouser Studios introduces the cheesiest new invention in film technology since the MaxiMouse screen: Smellovision!

This amazing new process brings completely realistic odors to the movie-going experience. No expense was spared to give viewers (or should I say smellers?) the aromas of fabulous perfumes, exotic flowers, and gourmet foods—including 45 fabumousely expensive cheeses.

And the story lives up to the novel special effects. The super-villain Cheesewhisker (played by the Persian cat actor, Sasha Fluffski) wants to control the entire world’s cheese supply—and only Spymouse 008 can stop him. Mousely Tuxtail returns in the role of the heroic secret agent, and he is even handsomer, more daring, and more sophisticated than he was in The Cat Who Loved Me.

Tuxtail’s co-star, Priscilla Chinchilla, is at her silkiest. When the audience inhales the aroma of her perfume, Eau de Fromage, an enormouse sigh is heard. And when Spymouse drinks his favorite cheese cocktail, shaken not stirred, the collective sniff nearly sucks all the air out of the theater.

Bad odors are included too. When Cheesewhisker purrs into the camera, we shudder at his tuna fish breath, and when his cat soldiers chase Tuxtail and Chinchilla under the streets of Swissville, we wince at the overpowering stench of raw sewage. At moments like that, this film really smells! And I mean that as the highest praise.

Two paws up!

MEET THE YOUNG RODENTS OF THE YEAR

By Zeppola Zap

AFRICARodentKids Magazine has just announced the winners of its annual “Most Fabumouse” poll. Young readers all across Mouse Island were asked to vote for their favorite young celebrities, and now the results are in. Most of the winners were the usual suspects, but there were a few surprises.

For example, Ashton Kuchclaws made it into the top ten. But who expected Cheesebob Squarepants to be so popular? After all, he isn’t even a rodent; he’s just a piece of cheese who lives at the bottom of the sea.

Mousica Simpson, the recording star, came in fifth, but B. Rat Simpson of the Simpsons (not related to Mousica) was close behind at seventh. Dustin Timbermouse of the rock group N Swiss was eighth.

The big winners: Singer/actress Lindsay Mousehan, came in at second place. “Everybody, even grownup rodents, loved her in the hit comedy Cheesy Friday,” said RodentKids editor Erica Plainfur. Rocker twins Joel and Benji Muenster of Good Cheese-lot were tied for third. Number two was Avril LaMouse, whose big hit “Under My Fur” just went platinum.

But the number-one young rodent of the year—the most fabumouse of all according to RodentKids readers—is Hillyratte Duff of Mousey McGwire. So, young rodents, look for her on the cover of the next issue of RodentKids, and be sure to watch her TV show—but only after you’ve finished your homework!
