Got the Vacation Blues?

Vacation! It's supposed to be fun and exciting and all that good stuff, but sometimes, it's easy to come down with a serious case of the vacation blues.

Think it's pretty hard to miss your plane or boat? In fact, it's really easy, just ask Geronimo Stilton. Once, he missed a plane to Happytail Island, because the printing press at The Rodent's Gazette broke down and he had to find someone to fix it. Another time, he missed out on a swinging adventure to Fossil Forest because his Aunt Sweefur's house caught on fire and he had to help out! He even had to give up a flight to Egypt because his cousin Trap cooked him a meal that made him sick to his stomach. And that was all in the same week!

Of course, there are tons of other things that can go wrong. Airlines lose luggage. Fancy restaurants completely run out of cheese. And I've even heard stories of foreign islands that are full of CATS! I don't mean to make vacations sound scary, though. There are so many reasons to plan one, and actually make it to the destination. Usually, all you need is the right plan, the right people, and more importantly, the right attitude! That's what Geronimo Stilton discovered when he found himself vacationing at the Ratty Tatty Hotel. It was the last place Geronimo thought he'd enjoy staying at, especially since his annoying assistant Pinky Pink was also staying there. But Geronimo made the best of a bad situation and had one of his best vacations ever.

Just remember: home is where your heart is, but anywhere can be lots of fun in the meantime!
