Hello
Mouse Friends,
Welcome
to the second issue of The Rodent's Gazette Online. My friends
back in New Mouse City have been hard at work researching,
writing and editing all the exciting things that have happened
on Mouse Island this month.
I, myself,
have been away from Mouse Island. I've spent the past few
weeks at my new office in New York City, and am now on my
way to different parts of the USA to meet readers just like
you!
I have
to admit, that if it weren't for my cousin Trap and sister
Thea, I would never have been able to take this trip. See,
I have never been a brave mouse
in fact, I am a bit of
a 'fraidy mouse. But a couple months ago, my fears were taking
over my life - I even went to Dr. Shrinkfur (a therapist)
for advice. He said I had to face my fears, but I was afraid
to even face the idea of facing my fears.
Trap and
Thea knew I needed help, so they dragged me away (on an airplane
- YIKES) and enrolled me in a survival school on Rio Mosquito.
Oh, I should mention that Rio Mosquito is the home of the
Rattytrap Jungle. And this particular school is held in the
Jungle. And that the instructor's name is Ms. Poisonfur. Things
were not looking good.
While
it was a terrifying experience, at least I have taken control
of some of my fears
although I am still afraid of flying
and haunted houses!
Til next
time,
