Hello Mouse Friends,

Stilton here, Geronimo Stilton! And gee whiskers, am I glad to be back.

You may be wondering where I have been. The truth is, I have been right here in New Mouse City. But recently, the strangest thing happened. I would be walking down the street and rodents would stop me every few steps to tell me all of these crazy things I had done. But I couldnt remember doing them! I began to think that the cheese had finally slipped off my cracker.

Even my friends, family and co-workers were telling me that I was up to no good. What could be going on?? You see, Sydney Starfur a well-known actor and singer on Mouse Island had been doing a (very bad I must say) impersonation of me at the Pawprint Theater. Sally Ratmousen, the editor of my rival newspaper, The Daily Rat, saw Sydney and hired him to play me at my office. She wanted to take over The Rodents Gazette!

You may wonder how I managed to get my life back and stop Sydney and Sally. All I can tell you is that it had a lot to do with my nephew and hero Benjamin Stilton. You can find out all about my mis-adventure in Paws Off, Cheddarface! one of my favorite books about a not-so-favorite time!
