Breaking News PhotoIS GERONIMO STILTON A PIRATE?

By Dolly Fastpaws

PIRATE ISLANDSIf you're like most mice, you probably think there's no way on earth a scaredy mouse like Geronimo Stilton could possibly be related to a pirate. Well hold onto your eye patch, matey. New evidence suggests that it may actually be true!

All sorts of hard cheese evidence, including a framed pirate's portrait and a pirate's family album with Geronimo's name on it, were found in the coastal waters just off the Pirate Islands. The late pirate's name was Silverpaw Stilton. If the evidence proves to be true, said the lead investigator on the case, Geronimo's great-great-great-great-grandfather was Silverpaw's cousin.

This is so exciting, said Geronimo's nephew, Benjamin. Does this mean Uncle Gerrykins has real pirate's blood running through his veins?

The very thought could send a mouse like Geronimo over the edge. When asked whether he thought he was up for the task, the newsmouse squeaked, Crumbling cheesesticks, no! Not if it means I will have to use s-s-s-swords. Not if it means I will have to s-s-s-sail the high seas!

Scientists and investigators are still working together to verify all of the pieces of evidence. So far it looks promising, said the lead investigator. But we still can't be sure. We need to check out other Stilton families too.
