With the January Reading Challenge wrapped up, it’s time for a new list of reading fun! It’s February, and with it, a roster of holidays and observances. February is the perfect time to delve into the richness of Black History Month, Presidents’ Day, Valentine’s Day, and more through amazing books.
Similarly to January, our February Reading Challenge has 10 mini reading goals for your child to have fun with throughout the month. These goals not only expose your child to a wide variety of books and subjects, but also sharpens their reading skills, like building comprehension, vocabulary, and more.
Encourage your child to read together with you, with friends and family, or independently. And remember, there’s no right or wrong way to participate in this challenge — kids can read in any order they like, and at any pace that suits them best. Letting your child choose each book increases the odds of them having fun reading (and finishing the books they selected).
Check out the 10 reading mini goals for February below!
