Who Said It? Harry Potter Quote Quiz

Jul 26, 2016

This is the summer of the Harry Potter re-read, friends. We’re all doing it.

If you haven’t heard, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts I & II is the eighth story in the series. However, unlike books one through seven, which chronicle Harry’s seven years at Hogwarts, book eight takes place 19 years later.  Readers get a closer look at Harry’s life and family after school.

Think you’re above the read-aloud? You know Harry Potter inside and out, so you don’t need to read it again? How about challenging your Harry Potter expertise by seeing if you can identify the speakers of these 15 quotes from Harry Potter books one through seven?

1. “It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.”

2. “Ah, yes,” he said softly, “Harry Potter. Our new celebrity.”’

3. ‘“Well, times like that bring out the best in some people, and the worst in others.”’

4. “Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and only with acceptance can there be recovery.”’
