Today my 8-year-old got home, grabbed his new book, and promptly climbed our tree with it in hand. I used to do the same thing when I was a child. I loved climbing the tree in our front yard with a book to read undisturbed. The books my son can't put down are all about Pokemon; for me, it was Anne of Green Gables and The Westing Game. Do you remember the books that helped you fall in love with reading?

See if you can find one of your childhood favorites on this list of 20 children's chapter books.
