Tracey West wants to encourage all children to use their imagination. The bestselling author of the Dragon Masters and Pixie Tricks series expertly weaves worlds into a rich tapestry for children to get lost in, where they can train their own dragons and get to know sprites and fairies!

Fantasy chapter books are a brilliant way to get your children to become voracious readers. With worlds, characters, and adventures that capture their imagination, the best fantasy books expand their horizons and creates an eagerness to read more.

In West’s newest book released on November 2nd, Dragon Masters #20: Howl of the Wind Dragon, heroes Rori and Drake must save the Wind Dragon and his Dragon Master, Quilla from captivity from the evil wizard Astrid. Readers will follow their heroes through exhilarating challenges and face many foes on their quest to rescue Quilla and her dragon from peril!

When it came to choosing more favorite fantasy books for children, Tracey West carefully curated her list based on what she loves to share with her own readers.

“Parents are always asking me what other books I can recommend to their Dragon Masters-obsessed readers,” says West. “These series all contain fantasy elements such as new worlds, magical creatures, strong friendships, and evil villains. Most are early chapter books, but a few are for Dragon Masters fans ready for a new reading challenge.”

Here are Tracey West’s favorite fantasy books for children who love Dragon Masters!
