Before Your Child Drops Out, Find a Compromise You Can Agree On
It's not unusual for a child to try activities and later ask if he can drop out. Before you let him stop, talk about alternatives. If your child doesn’t like piano, give guitar a try. Find a win-win, like sticking with musical training but changing instruments, to achieve the overall goal and give your child a say in what he's learning.
