Write a Historical Fiction Journal

Invite your child to imagine that she's living in another year in history, like 1492, 1787, or 1876. Ask her what she knows about that time, and help her conduct research (online or at your local library) to learn more about what was happening at that time in history. Then, encourage her to write journal entries as if she were 10 years old at that time.
