Viva La Volunteers!

Busy parents might not have time to be a class mom or dad, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of ways for you to volunteer at school. The opportunities are endless: chaperone an event or class trip, offer to help in the computer lab, be an after-school club mentor, help coaches on field day, or offer to help inside the classroom with anything your child’s teacher needs. The school will benefit, but so will you and your child. When you interact with teachers, administrators, and other parents, you’ll have first-hand knowledge of what your child’s daily life is like—plus, your child will love having you be a part of his or her world outside of home!
