Understanding Magnets

Teach your child about what is magnetic and what is not. Give her a magnetic toy, and gather a group of items, some of which will stick to the magnet, and some of which won’t. Let her lead the way, testing the objects one by one, and over and over. She’ll learn which are magnetic, and may notice some similarities among those that do stick.
