Trace and Paint ABCs

Attach a large piece of paper to the wall or to an art easel. Take a pencil and lightly trace out large letter for your child, then let her trace them in broad strokes with a paintbrush. This helps her see and write at the same time. It’s easier for small, unpracticed hands to manipulate a large paintbrush then a small pencil or crayon!
