Take a Pottery Class With Your Child

Consider taking a pottery-making class together at a local studio. Shaping something unique out of a block of clay will inspire your child's creativity, and you'll enjoy having the chance to spend time together on a regular basis. Be sure to explain to your child that the pieces she makes will need to be fired in the kiln before she can take them home.
