Sun-Printed Letters

Take a sheet of dark blue construction paper, and help your child arrange a thick ribbon on the paper in the shape of a letter. Carefully place the paper outside and in the sun for several hours. Later, take away the ribbon and you’ll see that the paper has faded, with the letter now outlined in the original dark color.
