It’s likely that your preschooler has lots of favorite books she wants read to her over and over. Next time you’re reading together, ask her to tell you about the book. If she seems tongue-tied, ask a couple of leading questions, like “The bunny seemed scared, right? Why do you think he was scared?” This helps hone her reading comprehension skills.
