Read Wordless Picture Books Together

Want to encourage your child's creativity? Pick up a few wordless picture books and introduce them to your child. As you browse through the pages, come up with your own words to accompany the story. Ask your child to speculate about why the artist chose not to include words, and discuss the pros and cons of reading a book without language. See how many different stories you can come up with, too, based on the images presented in the book.
