Practice Using Lively Language

This printable will help your child keep up with descriptive writing this summer. Begin the exercise by reading the short passages at the top of this printable. Then, prompt your young reader to write descriptive answers to the questions that follow. When you've finished the warm-up, you and your child can move on to descriptive writing about your own biography. Your child can write about himself and those most influential in his life, all while describing why those relationships are special.
