Practice Counting and Place Value

Using either a piece of string or shoelace and two different colored beads, have children string beads in groups of 10. For example, 10 red beads, 10 blue beads, 10 red beads, and so on. Kids can practice counting to 100 and begin to see numbers in groups of tens and ones.
