Play Rhyming Games With Your Child

Say a word and encourage your child to find as many rhyming words as possible. Once he has the hang of it, turn it into a competition to see who can find more rhyming words. Another version is to say a sentence, intentionally omitting one word and replacing it with a rhyme. For example, "Clean your broom," instead of "Clean your room."
