Plant Race

Have your tween challenge the sun with two sets of plants. Ask your child to plant one set outside in the ground and one set inside in pots. Your child must observe which set sprouts faster, recording the growth daily.  Make sure to have a conversation with your tween once the results are calculated. Also, ask thoughtful questions about the physical setting the plants were placed in.
