The Muffin-Tin Game

Set down an empty muffin tin, and put a toy in one of the cups. Give your baby another toy, and ask her to put it in another cup. Keep going till they are all full, and then encourage her to take out, put in, and re-arrange the toys. As you play with your baby, talk about “putting in,” “taking out,” “empty,” “full,” “one more,” etc. This game will help your baby develop an understanding of spatial relationships, counting, direction, opposites, and more.
