Making Raised Letters

One way to learn letters is through the sense of touch. Help your child “feel” the ABCs: Print letters on index cards, and then cover the letters with lines of glue (or, use food coloring as well so your child can see and feel the letters more easily). Let the glue dry, then your child can feel the raised letters with her fingertips.
