Log Your Days
For a week, try logging your activities, hour by hour. After a week, take a look and see where you can make changes that might make your own and your child’s life more pleasant and organized. For example, you might notice that you have over-scheduled your child with playdates or activities that interfere with quiet family time, which has led to too many fast-food meals. Or, you might notice that you and your child are watching too much TV at night, when you should be reading together.
