Leaf Rubbings

Collect a few large, interesting leaves, and gather up the other supplies: white paper and crayons with their paper wrappers. Place a leaf on the table, and cover with white paper. Hold the paper down for your child. Show her how to rub the crayon on the paper over the leaf, and watch her experience the “magic” of watching the leaf’s outlines and details emerge.
