Hobby Swap

Show by example that adults have hobbies, too. Involve your children in your own personal passions. Like to fix cars? Show them what’s under the hood. Like to take photographs? Teach them how to use your camera. Encourage your child to show you a thing or two about a subject he or she is passionate about. This is a natural way to communicate with one another by focusing on the hobby at hand.
