Grow a Garden

Set up a summer garden inside or out to teach children that water and sunlight are needed for plants to grow. Create an experiment using flowers; place one in sunlight and water it and put another one in a dark spot and give it no water. Hypothesize with your child what they think will happen. Also grow vegetables that your child may want to eat!
