Give Book Talks During Dinner

Help your child develop presentation skills by taking turns giving book talks over dinner. Whether he’s reading fiction or non-fiction, ask him to share the author's name and a brief summary. He should conclude the talk by stating whether he'd recommend the book to others, and why. Do this at least once a month, and encourage your child to explore books in different genres.
