Foamy Fun Ahead

Look for soap flakes in the cleaning aisle or a hardware store. Put about 2 cups of flakes in a large bowl, and cover with very hot water, and then let it cool. Later, in a wide, shallow tray, you and your child can mix in a bit more water and stir it up until you make foam to squish and play with. The more you stir it up, the bigger bubbles will form.
