Do Re Me Fa Soda?

Recycling plastic bottles has never been this much fun! To do this craft, gather six empty soda bottles, some food coloring (optional), a magic marker, a stick, and water. Have your child fill a bottle with a small amount of water, then add a bit more water to each subsequent bottle. As the bottles get filled with water, your child can bang the bottle with a stick to hear the tone. He can arrange the bottles from left to right, creating low notes to high notes. Mark each water line with the marker. You can also add food coloring for some visual fun.
