Create Space for Making Notes

Need a place to jot down reminders? Paint one wall of your kitchen or mudroom with chalkboard paint. Then, use colored masking tape to mark off sections of the wall for each family member to jot down notes and record upcoming events. Consider using magnetic paint, too, so that things like permission slips and memos can easily be attached to the wall with magnets. Give each family member different colored magnets, as well, to help them keep track of their notes.
