Count 'Em and Eat 'Em!

Create a counting game at snack time. Take an empty cardboard egg carton, and write numbers one to 12 on the sections. Give your child a small pile of food pieces (such as raisins or chips). Then have her fill the numbered section with the correct number of items. Once the sections are filled, work in reverse, and have her remove the pieces while counting.
