Gobble Gobble Place Card

  • Styrofoam balls (large and small) and craft paint
  • Cardboard and pipe cleaner
  • Googly eyes and feathers
  • Tacky glue
  • Toothpicks and colored paper

1. Paint a large and a small Styrofoam ball brown. Allow to dry.

2. Cut out a piece of cardboard in the shape of a pair of feet and paint yellow. Allow to dry.

3. Attach the small Styrofoam ball (head) to the large one (body) using a toothpick. Leave some of the toothpick exposed as the neck and wrap red pipe cleaner around it.

4. Glue the body to the feet. Glue on googly eyes, a beak cut from paper, and a feather tail. Finally, make a name flag by gluing a paper triangle onto a toothpick and sticking it into the turkey. (Decorate your little one’s bookshelves with this quirky bird when the meal is through!)
