Fishbowl Fantasia

What you need:

• fish bowl
• acrylic paint and brush
• shells
• bamboo plant
• rocks or pebbles
• colored sand

What to do:

1. Clean and remove label from the bowl of your choice.
2. Invite your child to paint decorations on the outside of your bowl.
3. Offer decorative materials for the floor of the fish bowl: Add rocks or pebbles, shells, or even a slender vase containing a bamboo plant in the center of the bowl. Encourage your child to imagine an underwater world.
4. Fill with water, add your fish (real or pretend!), and watch the scene come to life.
