Everything for a Dog

Everything for a Dog

by Ann M. Martin

In this companion to A Dog's Life, Bone and his sister, Squirrel, are stray dogs born in a shed. Left motherless as puppies, they survive together for a while, but are soon wrenched apart, and Bone must go on, alone. Charlie is a boy who has suffered a terrible loss; he has tragically lost his older brother. And, as he's healing with the help of Bone, another tragedy occurs.

Eleven-year-old Henry desperately wants a dog. Charley's and Henry's stories intertwine as each of them deals with the sorrow in their life.
