It's Minute Mania Month!

Now until the close of the Scholastic Read-a-Palooza Summer Reading Challenge on Friday, September 6, kids can enter reading minutes for any week they may have missed!

As part of the Scholastic Read-a-Palooza Summer Reading Give Back, as kids reach designated minute milestones in the Summer Reading Challenge, they’ll unlock book donations from Scholastic with help from United Way to kids with limited or no access to books.

There are three major minute milestones this summer, and the more minutes kids collectively enter, the faster they get 200,000 books into the hands of kids in need.

  • Kids reached 25 million minutes and unlocked the first book donation of the summer on Wednesday, May 29! Congratulations, readers!
  • Kids reached 50 million minutes and unlocked the summer's second book donation on Saturday, June 22!
  • Kids reached 100 million minutes and unlocked the summer's third and final book donation on Thursday, September 5!
