1. Peppa Is Kind
Kindness is a wonderful building block for every social and emotional skill your child will learn. In Peppa Is Kind, Peppa learns that being kind means watering the garden with Granny and Grandpa Pig, visiting her friend Pedro, and helping Mummy and Daddy Pig wash the car. There are many ways to be kind, including being kind to yourself!
2. Peppa Gives Thanks
When Peppa wants a toy that her friend has, she must learn to be thankful for the many toys she already has — and for her house, her garden, her family, and her friends! Peppa Gives Thanks teaches children that giving thanks helps you remember all of the wonderful things you already have around you.
It's especially important for children to learn how to share as they enter preschool and kindergarten. In Learning to Share, George and his friend Richard have to share their toys, and eventually learn that playing together is the most fun when you share the fun with someone else — even your siblings or parents!
4. Peppa’s New Friend (Level 1 Reader)
It's important for children to appreciate diversity and develop empathy for others, whether or not the new friends they meet are like themselves. When Mandy Mouse comes to Peppa’s school in Peppa’s New Friend, Peppa learns about Mandy’s wheelchair, how she can lend a helping hand, and everything they have in common despite their differences!
5. Peppa’s School Day (Level 1 Reader)
Compassion and caring for others is an essential skill to foster in little ones, especially when it comes to meeting new people and making new friends. In Peppa’s School Day, there’s a new student in Peppa’s class! Emily Elephant is shy at first, but Peppa notices opportunities to make Emily feel welcome and at home in her new environment. A little thoughtfulness goes a long way!
