On our Scholastic Parents Facebook page, we asked you to share your trick-or-treater's Halloween costumes.

Parents, you really delivered! See some of our favorite book-inspired Halloween costumes below, including homages to Clifford, Dog Man, and so many more favorite characters. We loved seeing how creative your kids' costumes were, and how they were so inspired by the dynamic characters they love to read!

Ben, age 8, is wearing a Harry Potter costume. Ben's mom, Joanna, says, "Ben and his dad are currently reading the Harry Potter series together. They just completed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. When asked what he wanted to be for Halloween this year, there was no hesitation in Ben choosing 'The boy who lived!'"
