During a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Scholastic Kid Reporter Arjun Atluri shared more about his reporting on Connecticut-based independent bookstore, Syd’s Book Shack & Boutique.
Meredith Daggett and Paul DeJohn, co-owners of the bookstore, shared more about their unique mission and the wonderful work they are doing in their community. At the end of the heartwarming segment, Scholastic surprised Meredith and Paul with a donation of $10,000 in acknowledgement of the positive impact they are creating in their area.
