New York, NY — November 21, 2025 — Scholastic is proud to announce that Ready4Reading™, an evidence-based structured literacy program for students in grades K–3, has been approved by the Texas State Board of Education (SBOE). The standards-aligned program met all High Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) requirements set forth by the state and will appear on their 2025 List of Approved Instructional Materials.
Combining explicit and systematic instruction with powerful assessment tools, Ready4Reading ensures phonics mastery for all students. As part of the instructional materials approved in IMRA 2025, the program will be available for classroom implementation in Texas beginning in the 2026–2027 school year.
