Kazu Kibuishi is the author and illustrator of the Amulet graphic novel series from Scholastic Graphix. In his talks and presentations, he speaks about the importance of perseverance in the face of failures and mistakes. He will describe the long and winding road he took to become a creator of graphic novels.

Program Description

Kazu speaks about his life and career and how they affected his decision to draw and write graphic novels. Emphasis is placed on the importance of perseverance and focus. Appropriate for readers of all ages, from kindergarten students to senior citizens. 

Virtual Visits

Depending on the amount of time available, Kazu will speak about his life and career, and answer questions. During the Q&A portion of the presentation, he will paint a live illustration for the audience.
