The Pumpkins pack weaves pumpkins into all your content areas, from science to reading to math. It features nonfiction texts, sing-along rhymes, story starters and writing prompts, as well as:

  • The Grow-a-Pumpkin Hat craftivity which makes the perfect visual tool for kids to learn the life cycle of a pumpkin as they read the mini-book Pumpkins Grow: Literacy-Building Booklet.

  • Three math mini-books, One Little Pumpkin, Pumpkin Patch Math and Pumpkin Time!, to help teach counting up, counting down, and size concepts.

  • My Pumpkin Book activities to encourage students to observe and explore various features of a pumpkin.

Fall Leaves Pack (Grades K–1)

The Fall Leaves pack features a draw-and-write prompt, a mini-play in English and Spanish, a graphic organizer, and a science craftivity and poem, as well as:

  • A science exploration, Falling Leaves: Hands-On Science, that teaches students how to identify and classify leaf edges.

  • Four leveled mini-books for differentiated reading: Leaves Fall: Literacy-Building Booklet (Level A), Autumn Leaves Are Falling Down and its Spanish companion Las hojas de otoño (Level C), and I Am a Leaf (Level D).

  • The Adding Leaves: Math Mini-Book to build addition skills through word problems and Fall Leaf Patterns, a reproducible math page about identifying and creating patterns with colorful leaves.

Community Helpers Pack (Grades K–1)

The Community Helpers pack is designed to help teach about the people who live and work in communities and features leveled mini-books, a riddle activity, a class mural, and a School Helpers survey, as well as:

  • My Book of Community Helper Words and its Spanish companion Mi libro de palabras de las personas de la comunidad, to build vocabulary.

  • The Hats on the Job Wheel reference tool that visually links firefighter helmets, police caps, and other hats to the helpers that use them.
