In support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda, each year, the Lexus Eco Challenge invites students in grades 6-12 to tackle environmental issues in their communities, create and submit their action plans and results, and compete nationally for a total of $500,000 in grants and scholarships.

About the Challenge

 

How to Participate

Register & Begin

Complete the online team registration form for each team of 5-10 students who plan to compete in each challenge phase.

 

2

 

Teach & Inspire

Introduce your students to environmental issues with lesson plans and activities that support Next Generation Science and higher-level learning skills.

 

3

 

Plan & Create

Help your students choose a topic and use the planning guide to prepare them to compete in the Challenge.

 

4

 

Submit & Compete

Submit your team's completed action plan to ecochallenge@scholastic.com by the challenge deadline.
