My Own Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Writing Activity
Have students write stories describing what their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day would be like. The story should begin when they get up in the morning and continue until bedtime. Encourage the children to illustrate these stories. Make them into books by making covers out of construction paper and stapling the covers and the pages together. Non-readers can dictate stories to you individually or in small groups.
