It's Christmas Eve, and Thomas can't wait to celebrate and hang his stocking with the other trains. But first he has three very important deliveries to make so that everyone's holiday will be complete. After Thomas makes his third stop, Sir Topham Hatt has one final delivery for Thomas to make. Unfortunately the light snow is now falling faster, and Thomas still hasn't hung his stocking for Father Christmas! He'd like to be back home in the warm engine shed, but he knows how important it is to be a Really Useful Engine. If he's very careful, maybe he'll make it home in time for Christmas morning. Friendly and full of pluck, Thomas reminds young readers that giving is more important than receiving, especially at Christmas.
