Hi Diddle Diddle/The cat and the fiddle/The cow jumped over the moon. . . . Or, at least, that is how the nursery rhyme goes, but in this Broadway-style theater production, The rehearsals for the play "Over The Moon" are not going well: the cat has a Stradivarius violin instead of a fiddle and the cow seems unwilling or unable to jump over the moon as the script instructs. Cow has a different idea. She refuses to follow the directions of Hiram Diddle Diddle, the director and author of the rhyme (but you can call him Hi). She jumps under, next to, and through the moon, until finally, she gives Hi exactly what he wants — with the most unexpected results. Scott Nash's illustrations accompany Rachel Vail's humorous text.
