When Flora's annoying little brother, Crispin, spills her paints again, her mom makes them go outside while she cleans up. It's a very windy day, and Flora is hoping that Crispin will just blow away — until he actually does. Before she knows what she's doing, Flora grabs his hand, and they both get whisked away by the wind. As the two siblings get carried high up into the sky, all sorts of things are interested in taking Crispin off Flora's hands. The sparrow would like Crispin to sit on its eggs, the rainbow needs someone to guard its pot of gold, and the man in the moon would just like some company. But Flora knows that Crispin is too young to be all by himself up in the sky. Can she convince the wind to bring them back home? With stunning pastel illustrations and a marvelous story, this picture book provides a beautifully creative take on sibling rivalry and love.
