Maryann Cocca-Leffler of Amherst, NH, is the author and illustrator of more than 50 books for children published by numerous publishers over a span of more than 25 years. Maryann's recent books are A Vacation for Pooch and Theo's Mood. Her award-winning books include Mr. Tanen's Ties and Bus Route to Boston. Let It Fall and Let It Snow are among her Scholastic titles and Maryann's books Jack's Talent and Mr. Tanen's Tie Trouble are part of the HMH Journeys Common Core Reading Program. Now a playwright, Maryann recently wrote a play based on her Princess KIM books. Princess K.I.M. The Musical won a National New Play Festival award and has had performances in Ohio and New Hampshire. Maryann has a BFA in illustration from the Massachusetts College of Art, and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators and Dramatists Guild of NYC.
